Groundwork was a week of music and events that raised awareness about solutions to world hunger and funds to help small farmers in developing countries in their struggle to overcome poverty.

Spaceboat was honored to perform all of the live video (HDTV) and webcast production for Groundwork 2001, a Benefit for the United Nation's FAO featuring: R.E.M., Pearl Jam, Phillip Glass, Dave Matthews, Emmylou Harris, Daniel Lanois, Alanis Morrissette, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Joe Strummer, Heart, The WallFlowers, Afro Celt Sound System, DJ Cheb-i-Sabah, Spearhead and Gwenyth Paltrow.
